OHHHH...that sounds pretty

I like the repo 30's. Purple and green. Try to get ideas for making a black and white quilt for my dd in law. Don't even know where to begin. I don't want it over the top dramatic. Any ideas?

Coral and turquise does sound good - what about peach and aqua???
Looks like a number of you like the black and white combo with maybe a splash of red - sounds GOOD! And the blue with yellow? That always makes a fresh looking, happy quilt, doesn't it??

I love teal and red, teal and yellow, teal and green etc., lol.

That said, I see quilts in people's avatars here in colors I would never think of putting together and am amazed by how spectacular they look, in part because they aren't the expected combinations.

Purple with anything (love it with orange or red).
Black with anything.....
