@ post#6: That is a really nice inviting photo and a very cool quilt. Not every pic has to be straight hung. The way you draped the quilt is really nice. No sight of a bathroom anywhere!
As you continue to expand your collection you will develope your very own style. Each quilt will become part of its very own vignette. EDIT: @ post#9. Cute! |
I've hung mine off the second floor balcony. And put them on the bed. And spread out on the floor, and stood on something high to photograph them. Also I've taken pictures in quilt shows.

I like to display my quilts on a chair by our backyard pond. Unfortunately, I can't use this setting in the winter.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...r-t198846.html I love the other pictures. Great idea for a topic. |
Oh gosh, someone just posted one taken outdoors in Montana. it was gorgeous. the quilt and the setting.
i put mine on the front porch bench mostly. sunshine helps colors show well. |
i have seen someone clothespin their quilt to the lattice at the top of a privacy fence.

I do all my photos of all my quilts from my own clothes line. Like the look as well as my own house and yard in the background. Makes it really a part of me and my home.

I love to see quilts hanging on a clothes line. Here is one of my favs'. This is only one pic of several shots. close up, back, detail of quilting and the signature block. The angle of the light is real important to pick up the texture in the quilt. I use one of those portable hanging lights that mechanics use if there is not enough light on the day I want to snap pics'.
