I'm looking for a quilt pattern using 3 fabrics (approximately the same amount of each fabric). I'm already considering the disappearing 9 patch, but would like to have other suggestions to consider. I might also consider adding on eadditional fabric, so maybe Warm Wishes would be nice. I've made several of each of those, though, so I'm interested in something different. Thanks!

Will be watching this as well, DGD has picked three fabrics from my stash, but there is not a great deal of any of them.

Try the tube quilt. It uses three fabrics and is fast and fun to make. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOWSp...ayer_embedded#!

I made a "square in a square 2" from quilterscache.com that I really liked. I used pink print, orange dots and a 3rd print with orange, pink, burgundy and taupe. It was fun and fast.

Here's a D9P that I recently made for one of my granddaughters. I did use 2 differenct fabrics for the center of my 9 patches, you would be using the same fabric for your centers to keep it a 3 fabric quilt. May in Jersey

I agree with those who suggested a Rail Fence pattern, which is easy to make and uses the same amount of fabric in each block. I'm attaching pictures of a Rail Fence top that I've completed except for adding the borders. If I were doing it over, I'd switch places with the pink and the white w/rose print. I took the pictures at night and the colors don't show as bright as they really are.

Close-up to show an individual block.
