Favorite source for Watercolor quilts?

Watercolor quilts are about my very favorite but I have never found very many pattern books. Do any of you have a favorite book/patterns for watercolors? I would love to see any examples of this technique as well -- it is very interesting to me

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I'm not sure what a watercolor quilt is, but I love water color artwork so I will be following your thread.

Interesting question. I'd have to google myself to be sure. But, I think it is like fabric painting for quilts.

Amazon has a few and you might check on Pinterest for some. I love these types of quilts myself; they remind me of Monet a little bit.

The 2 books I have turned to many times are: Quick Watercolor Quilts, and More Quick Watercolor Quilts by Dina Pappas ; published by - That Patchwork Place. I took a class about 10 years ago, using the first book, Dina makes this so easy, with great results. (And of course a great way to use those 2" squares and florals I don't know what to do with

This is the only place I know of that specializes in watercolor quilts. I bought a kit here years ago...it's still in the "to do" pile.

My favorite book is Colourwash Quilts by Deirdre Amsden, copyright 1994. I bought it shortly after it was published and still refer to it frequently.

Some other books are:

Watercolor Quilts, by Magaret and Slusser
Watercolor Impressions, by Magaret and Slusser
Impressionist Quilts, by Gai Perry
Watercolor Magic, by Deanna Spigola

Some eye candy from Google Images:

Try searching on Google, using "watercolor quilts", and "watercolour quilts", and "watercolor quilt patterns". As you search, there are further search suggestions at the bottom of the page.

I like this source for patterns. I have purchased one and gave to a quilter friend. She loved it.

This is the concept I am talking about -- maybe the correct term isn't 'watercolor'?
This is the only one I have made -- it is really the only pattern I have found so far that I liked enough to do (but I do love it!) It was such a fun project -- am considering making it again in holiday colors, or fall colors, or more vibrant summer colors -

Can't help with sources for patterns as this is the first time I hear of water colour quilts. Wow, your wreath is stunning! Think I'm getting more ideas for my bucket list... (as if it wouldn't be already long enough!)
