It has been a number of years since I worked on one of these types of quilts and I was wondering what each of you uses for a stabilizer to maintain structure without adding weight and stiffness to the quilt. I don't recall what I used before. Hope someone here has a great idea for me. Thanks in advance.

I've had good results using iron-on tricot for interfacing in t-shirt quilts. As long as you keep the stretch in the interfacing running perpendicular to the stretch in the shirts, it really does a nice job of stabilizing them and not adding bulk.

me too - just remember to use a needle for knits - I learned the hard way

I used a medium-weight iron on interfacing, works great for me!
