I finally won one on EBay and for my price too. I hope its OK. Actually I bid on another one too and hope I get outbid or I may be advertising it on here in the classifieds!!!! Once you bid, they hold you to it. I'll keep you posted.

Last week I "won" two 301's and another vintage Montgomery Wards machine...what was I thinking????

Luckily, they all work great!

(laughing) I got so tired of never winning a bid on a Featherweight on ebay, that I finally was bidding on two at the same time...and as luck would have it, I "won" both of them...but I just keep them in separate rooms so that they each think they are my favorite...lol...Naomi

ROFLOL, I did that with a pattern. Really stupid.

Well, I did that with a silverplate pattern. I contacted the seller and asked her if she could offer it to the person I outbid. She did and they took her up on it. They were so thrilled to get the set. I was thrilled they got it, too!

First of all, congratulations on getting your machine. I ended up with three feather weights that way, but one I really thought was going to be for parts. But as it turned out all three work great.

But I almost ended up with 2 more, but I was able to rescind my bids. With both it was before the bidding ended.

I did that with the David VF I just got....two came on eBay the same day, and I bid on both. Luckily I won one and the other went to someone else.
