Feed Dogs
 

I have a Viking Tribute. I put the feed dogs down this morning when I was cleaning her and now they won't come up. :( Anyone have any ideas? I'm afraid my baby is going to need a doctor and I am just getting used to her.

Have you tried to turn the handwheel? They usually come up after a full rotation.
If you have already tried this....please disregard the suggestion. I'm only operating on a few sips of coffee, so far.

Did you maybe push a button or lever and didn't put it back?

On my Juki I have to turn the knob to raise the feed dogs and lift up on something by the bobbin to get them to pop up. A bar looking thing.

Dah!! never thought of turning the handwheel. Thanks for the suggestion.

Some machines need you to switch on and to begin stitching to come up. Can't remember which machine it was .
