I'm astonished that people assume this will be abused. This is not an adversarial place. Admin explains very carefully that direct dispute resolution is preferred but, if that does not work, isn't it friendly to save your co-users from a possible repeat of your negative experience, and to give visible credit to those who treat others well?

You should have gotten a pm from Admin with a link to explain it. The board is getting so big that they felt it was needed. It's probably a good idea, you know a scammer does occasionally sneak by. I think we've all been very fortunate that Admin and the moderators do such a good job of screening for such people but you know the old saying, "every time they make a better mouse trap the mice get smarter". Plus this way we'll be able to feel more secure because we'll know the sales history of the person that we're buying from.

I think this is a great idea, it will keep the scammers away! I hope!!!!!

I personally agree with the feedback system! I have been burned more than once and am skeptical about joining more swaps because of it.

It lets others know you are trustworthy and dependable.

Being an occasional seller on E-Bay, I have seen this "feedback" abused even though we have 100% positive feedback rating. I would hope that our group is above this. I have always tried to go to the utmost to see that people are treated fairly. But, I guess not everyone is like that. Do we post feedback on a swap, a sale, a buy or what?

Well said!! My thoughts exactly!

Is it the same principal as ebay's feedback?

I think everyone received a personal message from Admin with the link that takes you to the explanation and rules of feedback.

That's not good. Did you contact the persons who organized the swaps? The swaps I've joined have been great, so I'm really sorry you've had problems.

Yes, twice and she didn't answer me either :( I just hope they are ok! No ill feelings on my part at all.
