Ok I know for a fact elmers glue does not work on felt. Gave up on that years ago. What glue does work for working with felt to felt or to other items? I used gorilla glue (like crazy glue) and yes it works however I lost a bit of finger skin in the process (oh joy the cops will never locate me now!)..

Oh crafty ones.. what can I use?

I just use the stick Fabric Glue. I just weighted down the glued parts with a book. Worked for me; hope it works for you. They are in the craft dept. of Wal-Mart.
I have used Elmer's Glue on other things. It dried clear, but haven't used it for awhile, but think it is better than some others.Marta

Thank you everyone! I have never heard of Fabri tac before. Learn something every day. We are making flags with kids and I wanted them to be able to glue an emblem on the flags without giving them hot glue. Felt is easy for them to cut but I know elmers NEVER works on that. Good to know.. fabri tac.. everyone here is so good helping each other. I love it.
