I'm having trouble figuring out how much fabric to get for Deni's quilt. I just don't feel like the numbers I got are right. What I got was 4 3/4 yards of black and 3 yards of red. This is without the borders or backing. I don't know whether or not my numbers are accurate, but I'm kind of skeptical about a 70x90 quilt top needing almost 8 yards of fabric to make. And again, this is without borders...I'm not sure how to get the fabric yardage for that.

Any suggestions on how to figure out yardage for triangular pieces and borders?

I'll try it out. I'm hoping my numbers will be a little smaller.

The numbers I got on there weren't too much smaller than what I got. Only a yard less. Its pretty nice, though. Only problem is I can't figure out the yardage for my uneven borders on there.
