I am not sure how far to fill mine. Do you go all the way to almost the edge of the bobbin, or do you do half? I am afraid to fill mine too full soI run out of thread quickly.

Most machines stop filling them automatically when they are full.

If for some reason your machine doesn't automatically stop, then you should manually stop before any of the threads extend past the outer rim of the bobbin...about three quarters full is what most of the machines do

both of my machines stop automatically...if yours doesn't, i'd fill to about 3/4 full...

I fill mine all the way up. However my machine is a little off and over-fills them a little and I end up having to pull off a bit of thread sometimes if I don't watch closly when filling the bobbin. I guess next time I take her in for a "tune up" I should have them adjust that.

3/4 or a little more is what I fill mine :D:D:D

It really depends sometimes on what machine you have. My machines will use a full bobbin and I let the bobbins stop on their own when they are full.

My machine stops when the bobbin is full. It seems to stop when its almost to the outer edge of the bobbin.

Mv Viking Platinum 755 Quilt stops automatically at the outer edge of the bobbin.
