I finally decided what colors the blocks will be. Not my first choice but it's the only purple fabric I can get my hands on now that even looks close.
The only block from the first batch that I'm using is the first one. I will not post any more pictures until I get it done. block from first set [ATTACH=CONFIG]276686[/ATTACH] this one goes with the first one and I had enough of that purple to do this [ATTACH=CONFIG]276687[/ATTACH] This is thenew purple colors that I could find you can see the lighter one really good but the ones I used as the geese? has a black background with little purple flowers on it [ATTACH=CONFIG]276688[/ATTACH] this is the finished center block I did last night it is machine appliqued since it need the heavy black borders all around [ATTACH=CONFIG]276694[/ATTACH] |

Can I ask where you got the viking applique my son teaches and coaches for a school and the mascot is the same but it is red and white.
