Don't be too hard on your husband. Putting a machine into a table sounds easier than it is. And you only get one chance to make the right cut! My husband is very mechanical and he took some time figuring out how to put my machine into a table. Maybe this blog post will give him some tips. Congrats on your fabulous new machine!!! I certainly understand your impatience to sit down and play with it.

Be sure when it is in the table that you will be able to access the bobbin area! Nice machine!

the voice of experience says" better to let him take his time and be sure of what he's doing than to rush him and he mess it up" BTW I've had a Bailey for 6 years, wonderful machine, I just moved to an Innova for more bells and whistles so will be selling the bailey.

Congratulations on your new arrival ! I, too, have been researching mid-arms and can't wait. Let us know how you like it. It's hard to be patient when you want to start sewing, but remember woodworking is a lot like quilting and the more time you take with measuring and cutting, the better the end product is. At least he is doing it and you don't have to hire someone. My husband does excellent woodworking and cabinetry, but like me, takes his time. Enjoy and show us your end results on your new machine!
