The White Number 8 was White's "answer" to the Singer 27, as noted by the vibrating shuttle and the side clamp feet, both unusual for White machines. They weren't popular, aren't a common machine, and were only produced for about a year... 1934.

It is here. I have to change my ink cartridges before I start to print. will let you know if it comes through ok. I am sure it will. My printer is doing it's blink,blink thing over there. Will get back to you later today. Thank you so much. I am only beginning to realize what I found. Did not know how old it was.
