Glad everything went well. My daughter had that same surgery several years ago and has no pain now.

Hi There!!

Actually, I have had some immediate relief! The horrible pain shooting into my shoulder and down my right arm and my numb hands are completely gone!! But, I do still have surgical pain, although not as much as I thought I would. I guess when you are as bad as I was, it simply couldn't have gotten much worse. So pretty much anything would be an improvement. But yep . .. one surgery down and one more to go! Next surgery on the lower back will be probably 3rd week of July.

Hope all goes well. I had my C3 &C4 fused together in 04. Have titatium plate in there. Look like Frankenstein inverted on xrays. Best thing I ever did as the nerve pain was awful. Wish I could get my C 1 & C2 to behave. It won't take long to heal just becareful. The drain tube was the worst part for me.

I had this surgery a while back. I felt better fairly quickly, but it took about two years before I could do some things. Be patient with your healing. Ice...lots of ice.

I'm glad the surgery is done and you're in the recovery mode. Before you know it, you'll be sewing again! Meanwhile, you can be PLANNING your first project.

Oh, believe me . . . Do I have projects planned!! About 30 of them that have piled up because I couldn't sew for more than about 30 minutes per day if that. My machine will be burning up as soon as I can handle sitting there. But, I WILL be careful and take it slow!! Thanks for the good wishes!!
