I've seen many times on here where people are trying to find a certain fabric/pattern. Have you ever seen http://www.FindMyFabric.com?
It has many interesting things here and you can search for what fabric your looking for by name or "description."
I've just taken a cursory glance but it looks very promising.

That is a good site to find your fabrics. I have also had luck with typing a description in eBay. :)
