I am having trouble finding a marker, pencil or anything to mark dark colored material, do you have any suggestions?
thank you

Terri

I bought a white marking pencil at Office Depot in the drafting section. It works pretty good.

I used a chalk pencil. I found it at a quilt shop. It looks like a regular pencil, but has chalk in the middle. I also have a whit marking pencil and a yellow one. Both would do well on dark fabric.

In the sewing notions department, they also have white or blue pencils for marking on fabric, also chalk that one can sharpen. I use the cheapest thing, a sliver of soap. It marks well, washes out always, and you can sharpen it with a paring knife by scraping the edges, best done when it is softened slightly. I wash my hands with it one more time to get it moist enough to sharpen and that also helps keep it from breaking due to. dryness.
