I hadn't seen this method before and am so glad that the original poster asked the question. What a great method!

I used this method to make my daughter's memory quilt. I used photos from infancy to adulthood, all different sizes and this method worked out great. The photos were placed on the front of the quilt and I put copies of her Birth Certificate and all of her diplomas- high school through her Master's degree and also her diploma for cosmetology and other certificates on the back of the quilt, using this same method. Th quilt went together so fast. I really wish I had come across this method before I made my son his memory quilt, I used pieced sashing or his and it took so much longer to do, I had photos and all of his Diplomas and certificates on his also.
I highly recommend the Donna Jordan method to everyone who wants to use photos or panels that vary in size.
