How, where, can I get my quilt finished & how much does say a queen size quilt normally cost?
I actually bought a a little Gracie frame a couple of years ago (still in it's box! - I haven't the room to assemble it.)
Though my sewing machine is a good one it's not a long arm.
I love this site, it's both inspiring & friendly.

where are you located?
how big is the quilt?

welcome!

LQS might have answers for you. I take in quilts to be quilted but you are a little far away from me.

Yes, the distance is a problem, there has to be somewhere nearer, but thank you for replying.
I only discovered this site at the beginning of the month & am so inspired by the creativity displayed & the generous responses by it's members I cannot wait to get going again. I feel I'm in a safe place where I'll get honest answers & the help I so desperately need.
I included (I hope) three of the quilts I've made so far.
(If you don't see pictures it proves I'm a klutz at this as well!)
Ah well !

Beautiful work! Find your closest quilt shop and call em to see if they do long arm quilting, I'm sure they can give you a few local referrals.

Your quilts are just beautiful! A local quilt shop should be able to help you find just the right person to enhance your wonderful work.

Try calling City Quilter, see if they have longarm services or can recommend someone. Then let us know what price you are quoted. I have a shop locally that I used a lot before I got my longarm and they were great and very reasonable. You would have to send it as we are upstate but I am sure they would be willing to do it for you.

The City Quilter does it. Here is the link:

I have never seen their work, so I can't give you a recommendation, but I am sure they have some to show you.
