It's usually fear of the unknown that people won't change their ways. Or, that dreaded word "rigidity." It's like saying Rembrandt wasn't a great artist because he didn't "paint" all his pictures in charcoal.

I guess she lives in a sod house and uses a fire to heat her home as well as to cook over, she walks everywhere she goes, weaves her own cloth from her sheep that she shears by hand, cards and spins into thread...if she is willing to use ANY invention from the last 200 years, she is hypocritical and is probably afraid she could not compete with the machine quilting she would see at the show. Feel sorry for her, she is really limiting herself and her life, how sad.

I'm with you gramquilter2. I do have a pilot's license, but no way do I want to skydive. Why leave a perfectly flying airplane

Very well said AnnieB, I'm with you 100% on that

Everyone has an opinion, not everyone will like it or agree with it..

i started to surgically edit to remove all the snarky bits.

changed my mind. i've already put in a full day at the office, and here.

let's all remember that it IS possible to express an opinion, or a counterpoint to somebody else's opinion without being nasty.

Please remember the dress code:

Plan to arrive dressed for a neighborhood block party. Please feel free to wear anything you like except the following:
-knotted shorts
-twisted knickers
-cranky pants
-sack cloth and ashes
-any variation or style of said articles of clothing

and no snooty shoes, either, please. they leave marks on the carpet.

i'm too lazy to type all of that again.
