Need opinions. I want to try making some sort of purse and I've searched and read alot of posts about the Bow Tuck pattern but found this one and since it's done with Charm Packs thought it seems it would be fairly simple. Maybe in Christmas fabric?

This looks really cute. Please post pics of your finished project. Christmas fabric would be great and Halloween as well (smile).

I've made many purses with charm packs and they come out very nice. I love the one I use all the time.

Here's a link to a free pattern for a tote that uses Charm Packs. I like this one, and since the pattern is free, what more could I want. LOL!! http://mypatchwork.wordpress.com/201...cket-tutorial/ Now to shop for fabric. WOOHOO!!

Cute bag

Finally made a decision on which fabric to use and now just have to get started on them. Seems I have 3 or 4 projects going at the same time and bounce back and forth. I'm sure no one else here does that. ;-) LOL!!

zippers are nice to have on a purse. I used to not be able to put in a zipper to save my life, but started to make quilted purses for the girls and now am pretty good. Like anything eles, you can't do it unless you try.
