Wow, you did a great job!

nativetexan 03-21-2019 06:43 PM

Oh you did a really good job on that quilt. seriously! I have lost my confidence in FMQing but hope to try it again soon. must get my machine serviced first.
keep on doing what you are doing. it is working well.

sewbizgirl 03-21-2019 06:54 PM

It looks good! Love the kitties and pups on your fabric.

Great job! I think you found your "niche."

It's an adorable quilt. You did a great job. You can never go wrong with cats and dogs and gingham. The quilt will be cherished by some one special, no doubt!

Tartan 03-21-2019 07:47 PM

Well done!

oksewglad 03-21-2019 07:57 PM

You have started on a new journey...and a great start it is! The more you work at it the better you will become. Are you keeping this? If not you are lucky to have a picture to show you how much you will improve over time. Keep at it!

It’s for my 3 year old baby cousin

QuiltnNan 03-22-2019 03:02 AM

That's a first time attempt? Looks real good!

grammasharon 03-22-2019 04:48 AM

Nice quilting. Looks so nice and smooth on the back. What machine did you use? I’m impressed?

Doggramma 03-22-2019 05:52 AM

That’s pretty

Great work on your FMQ. You should be really proud of yourself for the beautiful workmanship

Vanna 03-22-2019 07:16 AM

Hi gramma Sharon, I used the brother xr3774

Looks good! I love to FMQ and the largest I have done is about 50 or 60 x 70 if I remember right. I only have a regular domestic machine with a small throat space. I would love to own a mid arm or try a long arm and see if I like it....but then I'd want something I can't afford.

Quiltah Mama 03-22-2019 11:27 AM

Wow, good job. I see your thread earlier about trying to figure out your quilting foot, you obviously figured it out. So happy that you figured it out, and was able to finish your project.

Boston1954 03-22-2019 11:32 AM

Wonderful! I am too chicken to try.

Jingle 03-22-2019 12:15 PM

Great job! I hope to move up to a baby quilt someday, for now I stick to table runners !

lindsayfarm 03-25-2019 05:58 AM

Jojk 03-25-2019 03:06 PM

Rhonda K 03-26-2019 02:27 PM

Let me add another congrats for you on your quilt! You have taken on a grand journey with FMQ. I have a big-fat F in that skill set...sigh.

MicheleC 03-26-2019 02:50 PM
