I thought I'd try something new, raw edge appliqué. I think he's kind of cute, but I need more practice. Any suggestions from the experts out there?

He's cute! I've never done that so I have no advice. Others will I'm sure.

I've done a lot. make sure your adhesive is on very well. keep your stitching close together, and use a new needle. the glue on the back of the fabric can gum up your needle, so wipe it down often. Have a lot of fun, oh when turning corners, keep the needle down.

He is cute...thanks lynnie for the advice...I am just getting ready to attempt my first applique project on the Mommy & Me baby quilt. I haven't decided if it would be best to turn my edges due to the fact that it may get washed more often than a regular quilt?
