Hi........I am new at this forum, but accidently stumpled upon it while doing a search, found it interesting and funny. Thought I would pass this on to in the event it should happen to you.
I had purchased a new pair of fiscar snippers last year with the intentions of making a rag quilt. But made the rag quilt this year and just finished snipping it. When I started snipping my snippers started feeling choppy, like the blades were rubbing or some problem with the spring. Called the company and they told me to slightly unscrew the screw that holds the blades together, (you need a philip screwdriver), and lo and behold they worked just beautifully again. So thought I would pass this on.

Welcome Muffins! Tips and advice are always welcome. I've noticed that tip also comes in handy for rotary blades. If the blade is too tight, back the screw off a bit and it will roll smoothly.

Thanks for the tip, I've had mine for a while now. I noticed the last time I used them, mine were doing this...I'll have to try this and see if it works.
