fish block
I badly need a pattern for a finished 6" fish block that is not paper pieced. I want it as simple as possible. I have been looking for days online and they are all the wrong sizes are too complicated. Please can anyone help me> I am running out of time. #frustrated. LOL

There is a 6" fish block called Rainbow Fish in the book "Block Magic" by Nancy Johnson-Srebro. It's not overwhelmingly simple but very cute. Rotary cut and pieced.

i just worked this up in EQ. the center block, not including the two borders, is 6" finished. the pieced sections across the center are all 4" high and from the left the width is 1.5, 1.5, 1, and 2 inches. hope that helps

http://www.craftandfabriclinks.com/f...llhanging.html http://www.quiltinaday.com/freepattern/ There is a fish at the bottom Finally a fish block is very easy to draft. It is basically just triangles so get yourself some 1/4" grid graph paper and a ruler and draft one up yourself. You can use your drafted pattern as templates for your pieces once you add the 1/4" seam allowance. |
Look at this one with hst and square: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/502784745877597045/

Applique? Some images from Google, just enlarghe or shrink to the size you want. I would recommend machine applique. https://www.google.com/search?q=appl...w=1093&bih=482
