Flannel at Connecting Threads

Can someone comment on the quality of flannel from Connecting Threads. Would you say it's closer to Joann's quality or LQS quality?
Thanks!

I love Connecting Threads cotton fabric. I haven't worked with their flannel. I would bet that it's better quality than Joann's. When I began quilting again the first thing I made was a flannel quilt for my dd. I made it with Joann's. MISTAKE. It has held up but looks like it has gone through the the past 50 years. I made it 5-6 years ago.

So, I'd go with CT rather than Joann's.

it's great quality, just like their other fabrics. I've made several items with it and it's performed as well as any from my LQS.

I've made several quilts from CT flannel. It feels good, looks great and wears very well. You won't be disappointed.

Low shrinkage, low pill, awesome IMHO

I've never bought flannel from Connecting Thread so this is good to know that it is of good quality. Thanks for the info.

I made my grandson a flannel quilt from CT. It has been washed many times and still looks great. The colors haven't faded and it is very soft.

I prefer feeling my flannels in person. There is difficult qualities of flannel found at JAF.

I've used CT flannel and been very pleased with the quality. I ran a little short so I went to JoAnn's. Fortunately I on,y needed a small amount because what I found at JoAnn's was not as good.

I made a snowman quilt from a quilt kit from CT and it was the nicest flannel I've ever worked with.

Have made several quilts with CT flannels and have not been disappointed.

I'd rather use CT flannels than JAF's any day!

Good to know as I have been very disappointed with JAF flannel. They used to have good, thick flannel, but not anymore!

I have enjoyed all that I have received from Connecting Threads.

I have just used JAF flannel for a backing and am disappointed. It is shedding quite a bit. I did wash it first. It will be OK but I will have to brush off the finished quilt with clothing brush before I donate it. I don't use flannel very often but thought it would be nice for this quilt which I am sending to upstate NY. It's CT for me next time!

I had a very bad experience with JAF flannel. It just shredded and fell apart while I was working with it. That's why I asked. My guess is that it's not consistent. It sounds like the Connecting Threads flannel is consistent, so I will try it. Thanks for the advice.
