I have been thinking about this... If you look at the pattern, and it calls for many different flannel FQ's, and you are not using the full width or length measurements for any of the individual pieces, and are only going to be cutting up 2/3 of each FQ, the shrinkage would not matter.
amma, it may still matter if you need the full length or full width. i don't trust fq's anyway. so many times they're short to begin with. besides if you figure the price of a fq x 4 you're often paying more than a full yard, so why not get 1/3?
