Fleece and a Granddaughter

Okay, I am in the process of binding a quilt with polar fleece on the back. My wonderful grandchild (Kansas) and I (Ohio) spent the week making a quilt....(love 12 year olds with a mind of their own). I decided that I would machine sew the binding on the back (the fleece) and am in the process of hand sewing the binding on the front where she chose lovely cotton for the blocks and flannel for the border. She picked out the binding color and left to go back to Kansas. I will have it done today but I wouldn't hand sew on the fleece side. Love children with a good mind....she did a find job of cutting, sewing blocks together and then designed "exactly" the way she wanted it.

She did a great job and has a very good eye for color / pattern. Thanks for the tip of attatching the binding on the fleece side.
