Has anyone ever made binding from fleece? I know it can be purchased, but I'm impatient and want to finish this project tonight. I have a scrap of purchased, and there is no stretch at all....and I will be using it on some curves. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch.....

Are you saying that your fleece does not have any stretch to it?

You could take scraps of fabric and batting like your quilt, cut it into a similar curve and try a piece of your fleece as binding and see how it works.

have you thought of using cotton, as in quilters cotton. I recently did a touque hat and felt the folded up part just didn't look finished and I didn't want to fold it over again to hem. I had a piece of bias binding left over from a recent quilt so I put that on it, and I really like it. I liked the touque so much that I did a blog about it and it shows applying the binding. Have a look.

That would be a nice way to finish fleece.

I can't remember if I have made binding from fleece or not. However, I think it would work fine. The only thing is that fleece is bulkier so I would do only a single layer of binding rather than the usual double-fold.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I ended up using just a regular
cotton tape and it worked fine. Appreciate your help.
