Without batting?

Last year I made quilts for all the grandkids and spouses out of fleece. I used remnants, cut them in large squares (10"-12" I think)and sewed them together. I used a solid piece of fleece for the backing. I sewed right sides together leaving an opening for turning and then topstitched around the outside. They are their favorite TV blankets. Nice and warm for winter. A fast and easy project - but I won't tell them that!
