I really like to use fleece for the backing of my baby quilts. I am amazed at how expensive it is getting to be--I was at JoAnn's today and row after row of their fleece is $12.99-14.99/yard--all of the pretty fleece was that price. The very plain Jane solid colors are $8.00. But they had their fleece blanket kits on sale for $10.00 for the 48"x60" size --that means I can back 2 baby quilts and it costs me $5.00 each. I like that price much better! I bought 3 kits for my baby quilt supply shelf.

look for fleece throws near the bedding section. check the size.
