Flex Foam Reposition-able?

Has anyone had experience reusing Pellon’s Single Sided Flex Foam? I fused some pieces and have changed my mind on the focus fabric for a bag I’m making. I can retest a little piece but I guess I’m asking if any of you have had experience re-using flex foam on a larger project.

I have reused it. Gently warm the fused side and then pull off the fabric. The fabric will probably have a fair amount of glue residue and the flex foam may no longer be fusible. Just treat it as a sew in flex foam. The only time I use the fusible is for straps.

Thanks! That’s helpful. I don’t mind having to baste as long as it’s not a gluey mess. Doesn’t look like it will be but I figured others may have had experience with this.

Or what about, instead of trying to remove your fused fabric, just stitch/quilt your new fabric overtop?

That's a great idea. As long as it didn't show thru, I'd do that.

Yes! Definitely need to take that into consideration.

That makes sense too! Thanks! Never thought of that!
