I need a pattern for flip flops please. Someone suggested I trace a childs flip flop, however what would I use for the straps. Any helps is much appreciated.
thanks Granny |
You can find just about anything on Google! You could use ribbons for the straps.

here is an awesome tutorial for redoing/replacing straps on flipflops, could be adapted to your own that you make in other ways.
http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2011/07...ed-straps.html oops I just realized that you wanted a pattern for a quilt oops... well will leave the link in case someone needs to repair a pair of flipflops :) |
I don't have the picture but I made a flipflop quilt with my friend and her daughters a couple of summers ago. We used all kinds of ribbon, lace, bric-brack, buttons, sequins and other goodies. We used the a childs flipflop that they traced onto WonderUnder and then hand appliqued. The girls finished the quilt and won 1st place in the NC State Fair in their age group for it.
I'll see if I can get them to send me a picture. |
Fons and porter had a flip flop pattern several years ago. Maybe i can try to find my mag. Or check their site.
