I was surfing on ebay and looking at quilts. This is usually where I get some of my ideas. I found this quilt and it is beautiful, but I have never heard of the pattern. Does anyone know where I can find this pattern?? The seller had it labeled as "Floating Shadow Boxes".

I've seen the quilt pattern somewhere.
If you can't find it, it looks pretty easy to figure out on your own.

I was just googling for it - if you do, watch what you click on to - there are security warnings on several.

I just remembered - Alex Anderson's old TV progam "Simply Quilt" had a guest that demonstrated this quilt.

I've seen that before, too. I really like it, and you have done a nice job on yours! Beautiful.

I don't think it's her. She got the picture from e-bay.

Oh no, I can't take credit for this!! I just really liked the pattern and would love to know what the name of the pattern is and where to find the pattern.

I think that one is close to the pattern called BQ or something like that. Atkinson designs, same designer as the Yellow Brick Road.

Ok just looked it's not Atkinson designs.

Just looked again, it's not BQ. Sorry, I'm no help!!! :(

Someone has posted a picture like this but I don't remember the name of it. Maybe someone will remember. It looks like it could be a variation of an attic windows type quilt.

I am also looking for this pattern. I was told it was called "Free your mind." If you find this pattern please let me know where to look for it. Mary

That's okay
When you click "Recent Topics" at the top of this page, you'll see various categories on the left side one of which is "Main." Just click that and scroll down - I can't remember what the poster titled it but it's pretty recognizable as the Floating Squares.
Just went to look: It's on the 2nd page and starts out "Found, maybe ....."
Good luck.

Its from a book called Casting Shadows by Colleen Wise. Well worth the money for the whole book.
