I've got to try these ideas because my geese never fly. How can they when their points are cut off?
|
I agree with Carmen. I have tried many ways but I found Eleanor Burns the simplest and most accurate. And you can make them scrappy too!! You really don't need her rulers but it is helpful. Her show is on PBS stations. GOOD LUCK !! :XD:

I tried that method a couple years ago and have never done it any other way since then. Love it. They come out perfect.

I'm using a 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle and then I'm trying to sew on two 2 1/2" squares. I got the measurements here: http://www.quilterscache.com/F/Flyin...atchBlock.html And on Page 2 you'll find the instructions on how to sew them together to make the Flying Geese. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! He uses 3" squares and a 3" x 5½" rectangle, but I assume you could cut any size you want. And don't forget to check out some of the videos in the right margin! So much information! |
Yeah, I tried that too and still had problems. I'm going to try the step-by-step suggestion someone put on here.
