It was mention here on the board that long arm quilters have difficulty doing their job if you use this type of flying geese.

I've been at my machine since I posted and have been trying out all of the methods. They are great. Soooooo much easier that the traditional way. Thanks everyone. You have all been a great help!!!!!

Kitty, I love this and have watched it several times and did it with the measurements he has given. I finally experimented and figured out the square sizes for the 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 finished piece I wanted. Do you know if there is a formula to make different sizes. If he said, I don't hear it when I watch the video. It is a great process and one I will use from now on. It just took me quite a while to get the size I wanted. Thanks. Jan

I learned when doing the snow ball blocks that I needed to sew just slightly off the line. Perhaps this would work for your flying geese as well.
