fmq a featherd wreath
 
I am trying to fmq on my dsm,a featherd wreath i found this tutorial for the circle markings https://www.cindyneedham.com/blogs/n...feather-wreath i do sort of ok untill i come back to the starting feather how do you connect the ending feather to the starting 1st feather hope this makes sense, i have bothe angela walters and pasty thompson feather craftsy classes but niether one shows a wreath i searched youtube and most are longarms using rulers or marking with a stencil,hmmmm! theres got to be a secret to it lol
appreciate any advice or a link to a turorial ...........thanks

When I have a design that the spacing has to work out, I mark the spacing out with chalk. Marking spacing for feathers is important or you will either end up with a fat feather or skinny when you try to complete the circle if you haven't marked.

The secret is to mark the first few feathers, leaving one or two marked feathers to be the last stitched when you come back around.
