I have been searching for a pattern for a purse that is made from a quilted square. When it is folded, it has a flap opening on each side and an opening in the center. I would love to know where I can find a pattern.

Try ehow.com. I found one there.

I couldn't find one on eHow, but here's a diagram. Cut a square of fabric, backing and batting. Quilt. Square up and bind. Then fold the square into a triangle, right sides together. Measure the folded edge and divide into thirds. Sew two seams, perpendicular to the fold, stopping about 2" from the top edge. Turn the 2 side triangles to the right side of the fabric (turn them inside out). Here is a really bad drawing.

Here is the pattern which makes a small purse. 3 Pocket Tote Bag. 9 x 9 inches. Made out of 2 fat quarters and batting. http://www.etsy.com/listing/58418392...rom-the-quilt.
Very easy.
