I know this subject has been asked multiple times, but I thought I would politely ask it again

I have a large assortment of "want to be FQ's", FQ's, & Fat FQ's - that I have accumulated over the years

I love my FQ's but they are beginning to be my problem children - but I would love to store them together and fold them in approx the same shape.

Any suggestions ----- PLEASE PLEASE - THEY ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY.............

I have a very hard time with organization.

So far, they have been in large shortage bins, with other yardage I had by color,

then they moved into plastic stacking draws -
but the way I folded them made it hard to open some of the the draws,

so I organized them in smaller plastic containers - which isn't working either

I've decided today that I'm going to store my fatquarters flat. I hate having to iron all the fold lines out of them. I've seend drafting drawers that might hold a full sized fat quarter, and they are stackable. Hoping this solves my fat quarter storage issues.

Can't wait to see what other people are doing with theirs!

I always fold my fat quarters the same way, even if I have to unfold them from the way the staff at the store folded them.

Fold in half twice so fold lines are parallel to selvedge edge. Then fold each end of the resulting rectangle in towards the center. Fold there.

How do I store and organize? Inside a drawer of an entertainment center cabinet that was designed for ---- music compact disks. They fit wonderfully. I'll go take a picture.

I have mine on an old wire stand and a few in baskets

I saw a tute on storage that would be good for fq's. big pizza boxes. not used ones either. lady had covered them in fabric.

If you arrange them flat, wouldn't you have to "leaf" through them all, to see what colors you have?

Ya but I like to leaf through my fabric. That way I always have a surprise waiting for me!
