Fons and Porter Design Wall
Hi,
Hope it's okay to ask this. Does anyone use this? Any pros and cons? I know I can make my own but I'm looking for a quick and easy solution. Thanks and if this gets moved, I understand, lots2do |
Yes I have the F & P design wall and use it often. I put cup hooks across a sliding door jamb so its easy to use it when needed. With the flannel side toward my room I can easily see the grid on the plastic. Sometimes I find I still need pins but I like it, especially since I got it on sale.

I had to check out what it was and see if it was different from mine lol. I made my own with flannel and it has worked fine for many years. I have also made a small one of 20x14, on a nice piece of cardboard. I like it for playing with a block etc or to carry pieces from the large board to the machine.

There are a lot of comments on Amazon about this. You might want to read them and and see if any of them offer additional information you can use.

I hope that it works for you. I made mine with 1" styrofoam covered with flannel and like being able to use pins.

I like it. No problem with fabric not sticking.

I have one--love it. Like it because of the quick measurements I can take using the squares. I also have tablecloth (with flannel back) next to it. And, yes, I can tell the difference in terms of the fabric sticking better to the F & P one.
