I used a Fons & Porter mechanical pencil and dark lead to mark a red quilt. I thought the marks were supposed to wash away, but they didn't. Any suggestions on how to remove them?

Suggest you write to Prym/Dritz and ask the question or to Fons and Porter. I have had no problem erasing the white lead out of dark fabric.

Have you found a way to get the dark lead out. Most of it washed out, but in several places it didn't. I'm really mad about this!

I have begun to mark with the Pilot Frixon pens. The lines disappear whe touched with an iron. Slick new tool. Got mine at Target. Office supply places carry them too.
