Fool Proof Machine Quilting Book
Has anyone used this book? I have a chance to get it at hobby lobby for 40% off + free shipping, so instead of $20, it would be about $12. (That's less than Amazon, used).

I haven't seen the book -
Personally, I don't think there is fool-proof anything - but there are ways to minimize errors ! |
I have this book. I like it for quilting on my domestic machine. Some nice alternatives to SID or FMQ.

It's a great book. I took the class from the author several years ago in Houston and she was a wonderful teacher. I now have a longarm so I don't use it as much. It is geared to domestic machine quilting.

If you want to straight stitch machine quilt using a walking foot this is a great book to have: One Line at a Time: 24 Geometric Machine-Quilting Designs Made Easy. One thing I never thought about, using removable big paper labels for guides.

Fool Proof Machine Quilting by Mary Mashuta is a great book for people who do not want to do FMQ - it has some interesting ideas on how to go about designing for machine quilting - I have refered to it a number of times and for $12 you can not go wrong.

It's available for Kindle for $8.19! Yeah!!

I purchased it on my kindle a while back for less than $10. It's interesting but I haven't actually applied any of her methods.
