I have tried many thinks to keep the foot pedal where my foot is! None worked.

One day I was remembering this latch hook rug I made and I bought brush on rubber backing and how that rug would not moved! And I thought I need to get some of that same rubber backing and put it on my foot pedal. Well it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You find the brush on rubber backing in a craft store (I found mine at Michaels) where the latch hook rug kits are. It was 12.99 and will coat about 100 foot pedals so share with your friends.

I put it on thick and left it for 48 hrs. I will have to pick the foot pedal up to move it as it is not going anywhere now.

Had this problem too. Told DH, he got a smirky smile on his face, went out to his truck, rummaged around behind the seats in the extended cab, and brought in a small all-rubber car mat that was under all his tools and stuff. Car mats were put in there 9 years ago when he bought the truck, but no one has ever sat in those jumper seats. Foot pedal never moves now. He's always thinking of ways to help me out with my Expensive Hobby.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have the worst time keeping mine in place. Going to Michaels in about an hour.

U can also use the shelvingats at discount stores. U use them in motor homes to keep Dishes in place.

Wouldn't you know.....I clean out and sent an unopened container for rugs to the goodwill. Everytime I clean up I need what I got rid of....go figure:)

A small roll of the rubberized shelving can be bought at most Dollar stores. I even put some under my printer. It like to Hula before I had it on a more stable base.

Yep, that's what I use, or the rubber rug pads.

I took 2 old mouse pads and glued the tops together.
