Has anyone ever heard of a FORD sewing machine? I stopped at an auction sale site-sale is SAT the 30th. Lady had a Ford sewing machine in a small suitcase and it had keys for the suitcase, a free arm table that was up in the top of the lid, under a ribbon and the machine itself in the suitcase. Didn't see any attachments except the footfeet in the case. A heavy machine--metal but still able to carry it in suitcase.

sounds like a great one to take along with you. never heard of it. wonder if it was a promo if you bought a car?

Here is a pic of one. They are great for collectors and if it works, even better.

I don't know, but I am thinking about putting a bid in on it if I can't get back there. The lady has all kinds of material and crafting stuff. I have to take two puppies to Minot in the morning so they can go to Bowman and be met by daughter # 4 who is taking them back with her to Wright, WY. One will be staying with a friend there and the other will be going with his granddaughters to Nebraska. I was able to get rid of 1 puppy in Kenmare yesterday and have 7 (3 boys and 4 girls) left.

Yes, I have, but don't know anything about them.

didn't look like that at all. it is a free arm and in a cream color. pretty looking machine. I think I am going to call and put in a bid.

Apparently, they were made in Holland.
