I think I have seen a formula or something that would tell you if you had 3 packs of 42 5" charms it would make a ___________size quilt or wall hanging or something. Anyone know what I mean????

Oh boy! I DO know what you mean and I've seen it too - but where????? That's the question!

Doing the math in my head, 3 packs x 42 charms = 126 charms, which would do a 10 x 12 block layout. That's 50" x 60" (before seams), so would be about 45" x 54" with seams. With a border, it would make a nice size lap/throw quilt.
