I was recently shopping at my local Goodwill store when I came across a Babylock Prolite that an employee was putting out for sale. I asked him if it worked and he said, "If the foot moves up and down it works!" I proceeded to try it out myself and it worked like a charm. I paid 39.99 for it. What I'd like to know is, is there anyone out there that owns this machine and can give me info on it? When it was made, so on...

My husband found my BLPL at the flea market for $5.00! It didn't have any of the feet or other tools, and the little tool container was missing, but the owner's manual was still with it. I found the feet and tools at my local sewing machine repair store and I found a tool container that would fit it at the flea market. I recently had to replace the light - so I have put less than $25.00 into the machine (counting the initial $5.) I love this little machine. It is light enough to carry to my quilting group and sews beautifully.
