found a fix for a bad mistake, whew
I carelessly left the background on the ironing surface when I was pressing the backing to the piece I was going to adhere. Of course, some of the edge glue got onto the background. Oh no!! What to do?
I tried lots of things but the thing that took that glue off was an ordinary pencil eraser!! It left some eraser marks but after I wiped it with a damp cloth, I can't tell where it was. The adhesive fibers on this piece was lengthwise so I erased it crosswise and the fibers just kind of rolled up. It did need to be a firm eraser rather than a softer one. Just wanted to share in case it might help someone else along the way!! Hugs and smiles!:o |

Thanks for the tip. I am amazed at how often eraser can help with removing other items besides pencil lead.

Great info to keep in my memory bank. It's amazing how we just "hit" on solutions at times. Thanks for that info.
