I found a few log cabin blocks that grandmother did and was wondering how it was done. does anyone know where I can find this information.

In my sister's mother n laws stash we found some OLD blocks that were pieced on muslin. It was unfinished so it was easier to look and see how this was done. I think it's easier than PP, you have the muslin that doesn't get torn away and also you have an extra layer for fabric there for warmth.

my sister makes a lot of log cabin quilts. her favorite block to do. she never uses a foundation. just cut her strips to size and sew them togather .
