Franks Bargain Center in NH
My wonderful SIL gave me a very nice gift certificate to Franks Bargain Center in Claremont, NH if any of you ever get to go to NH you've got to go there! I came out of there with two bags of fabric so FQ were down to 2.25 a piece. They had bolts of fabric marked down to $3.60 most expensive one I got was $5.20 so needless to say I had a field day in there, that was my Christmas present from her. I took some pics of the stash I'll post them maybe tomorrow so everyone cal see the beautiful fabric. I always have issues with getting my pics to load on here.

Oh, how fun - and what a nice SIL!!!
He's franks11 on eBay - and he's always a FABULOUS source of assortments of FQ's and yards. You can call them direct from the number on their auctions and ask if they have 40 Civil War prints or 25 30's repro prints or whatever and whatever you want, he'll ship it to you. Usually the same day or the next day. :) I've bought assortments of CW, 30's, Jinny Beyer, Debbie Mumm, black and white prints and white on white prints, plus yardage in muslin, percale, linen weave white cotton, black cotton, white on white prints. Really outstanding seller. |
Congratulations..great find.

Hope this pics post ok I always have issues but here goes! This is what I picked up last weekend.

Nice fabrics!! Haven't seen those prints around my area. Very elegant!
|
Love the fabrics you picked up! Very nice. I'll be in Vermont in two weeks so will have to check this out - looks to be about an hour away from us in Grafton :)
|
I'm in the market for some Jinny Beyers and don't want to pay full price - at her shop I bought a little bundle of FQ and what turned out to be a scrap pile plus paper templates for a charm quilt, and I'm broke LOL.
Franks, woo-woo! |
WOW! What a GREAT SIL!! Love your fabrics. Please share when you have some blocks/quilts done.
|
I have to go to Grafton County in about 2 weeks , I will have to see how close this is .... and plan time to stop. Those Jenny Beyer fabrics are making me envious!
|
Some beautiful fabrics .... lots of potential quilts there!
|
Lori S - Not sure what direction you're driving from but if you go through Chester Vermont, also stop by Country Treasures on the Green. I haven't been back in several years but their back room was stocked full of bargins the last time I was there. I always need at least a couple of hours in the store...:) You think the place is smalll and it is but the rooms just keep coming. Their website says over 6000 bolts and 10,000 FQ. I believe it! There's also a lovely quilt store (no fabric) in Newfane, Vt.

Love those stripes! Will have to head down on my next day off. Have not been that way since the flood!
|

Beautiful colors, especially the jewel tones. I really like the purple with the orange and brown.

I was asked to provide a link to franks11 on eBay by another member - here you go. :)

This is exciting! What a huge selection he offers on eBay. So glad someone responded with the seller name information. (franks11 in case you missed it).

I've always been very happy with his FQ assortments. In a batch of 25 or 40 or 100 FQ's, there might be a "stinker" or two, but his prices are so low that you don't mind.
And he ships FAST - no handling charges, just the postage. He does his best to put everything into flat rate boxes to keep the cost down. He's also very bright and pleasant over the phone. I have two eBay sellers that I go to over and over and he is one of them. |
