I got my Fons and Porter magazine today and fell in love with one of the patterns in an ad. I did some searching around and found the free pattern for it!! I wanted to share.....looks like a good scrappy quilt! (Shadow--are you there? :D )
There are more on that page, but this one is the only one that caught my eye. Project #438 for me. http://www.henryglassfabrics.com/ Click on New Free Projects at the top of the page and look at Country Haven. Pretty, eh? Okay--I looked again and printed off Cottage Charm....#439.  |
Nice! Really pretty!
I can't wait til I get my F&P magazine. It'll be here in about a couple weeks. ALL my mags are late. :( |
Very nice!
I could buy all of their lines! They are gorgeous. I tried to enter my zip code to find a retailer and nothing showed up. I love the black and white fabrics. Christmas too... Good thing I could not find any at the moment... Julie |

I love the look of that pattern. Kind of log cabin, but not. Printed it out. Thanks Karla.

Thank you for the fun site ! I saved it for a favorite place. Chairjogger |
I liked all of them, but I really liked the pink one. I think I'm in my pink/red period--those colors are really talking to me lately! When I started on this board blue was my thing. Am I fickle?

ooohhhhh - SO PRETTY!! Thanks for sharing this "eye candy" treat. I saw this in the magazine, but hadn't taken the time to check it out.
Did you notice that part of the block resembles some of the log cabin variations posted by Sondray? Piecefully yours, Kay Susan |
Thanks for sharing. It's now in my faves!
|
I like both of these.
Aren't you busy with your Civil War quilt??? You remind me of ... ME! As soon as I start one quilt I'm already planning another, because God forbid I should ever go a day without a project! Are we all like that? |
Ha ha--Shadow you made me laugh. See:
Harmony--I'll never live long enough to do all I want to do--but I can try. My vacation has started--sort of. My daughter and I walked the hills at her next college at orientation yesterday--then I've spent hours emailing two potential buyers for a horse--and one is coming tomorrow to maybe make a purchase. Now I have to do wash, dishes and there's a quilt show today I want to attend! My daughter will share the chores and look at quilts with me--but Monday... yes, MONDAY I sew. Sure takes a while to get there. |
I need to download another pattern like I need a hole in the head. But hey thanks it is really pretty also check out their fabrics. There is one collection called "Miss Emma's Garden. It is so pretty. I love anything that has Emma in it as my darling granddaughter is named Emma. I downloaded Ron's World got to make another Camo quilt for grandson and this will work great. Have a nice day. Deb
